Live In BristolThe Good The Bad And The Queen cover The Clash The Good, The Bad And The Queen kicked off their UK tour in Bristol last Sat night (January 27). In the same vein as their recent gig at Wilton's Music Hall in east London, several comedians entertained the crowd before Damon Albarn's band launched into their set, the bulk of which featured tracks from their self titled debut. Hosted by compere Justin Edwards the warm up acts included: French Juggler Sebastian Valade Rod Laver and his amazing ping pong ball act Full Stop Acrobatics (Vicky Steggles and Vibber Pompe) Max Williams and his diablo routine. Bristol fans were also treated to a cover of Clash track 'Guns of Brixton'as part of the encore. The encore also featured rapper Eslam performing bside Mr Whippy and the band also added bside 'Back in the day' to the set |
